This society no longer just tolerates homosexuality, it celebrates it.  I have even heard many Christians say they don't mind the thought of homosexual marriage, because it doesn't affect them. ALL sin affects us...

As homosexuality becomes more common and celebrated, it will have a detrimental effect on our society as ALL sin, whether it be greed, covetousness, discontentment, slander, critical and judgmental attitudes, etc. hurts society.

As a society celebrates homosexuality or any other sin, you will have more of it.  Sexual orientation is not fixed.  Mark Driscoll in his book Real Marriage states that men who start viewing child pornography, start having a sexual desire for children. Sin breeds sin.

Your children will now be raised being asked if they want to marry a man or a woman.  They will have to ponder that and it will cause confusion in their minds.  Homosexuality will greatly increase.  It is a deadly lifestyle.  I don't know why anyone would want to celebrate a deadly lifestyle.  Actually, all lifestyles apart from Christ are deadly lifestyles...We must remember that and keep it all in perspective.

However, God is on His throne.  Even as society gets darker by the day, we have nothing to fear.  We need to continue to be salt and light raising our children in God's Word.  They must be taught that marriage was instituted by God to be between one man and one woman.  We must work on making our marriages strong and an example to our society, not another divorce statistic.

With all this being said, we must still reach out and love homosexuals.  They are lost sinners just like every one else who hasn't experienced the cleansing blood of forgiveness.  Every sin separates us from a holy God, but His grace and forgiveness covers all who believe.

We must share this truth with the homosexuals in our life and love them earnestly just as we would any other sinner.  They, too, need a Saviour! Love wins people, not condemnation.  Remember to hate the sin, all sin, but love the sinner.

Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a disgrace in any society.
Proverbs 14:34

My question to all of you ~ What sin in your life are you tolerating or maybe even celebrating?  Instead of pointing your finger at other sinners, point it at yourself and rid your life of that sin with the Holy Spirit working powerfully inside of you.
