The Dig for Kids by Pat Schwenk

I'm not able to offer you the Friday Five this week because my family is on vacation this week. Well actually we were on vacation last week, this week it's been more of a stay-cation. But nevertheless it's been a blast to have Michael and the kids around 24/7. I have kids tugging at my sleeves and a husband who wants to spend time with his wife--life rocks!

In the mean time I'd love to introduce a new ebook to you. I received a review copy of "The Dig" for kids from Ruth Schwenk of The Better Mom. Actually Ruth's husband Pat is the author--he's also a pastor by the way!

I spent an afternoon digging through this resource before passing it on to my kids and I'm definitely impressed! Pat Schwenk walks children through the book of Luke in a fun, creative, and modern way. But you know what I really like about it? Every chapter is bite-sized so that kids can complete the entire lesson before their attention is lost. That's important for Nathaniel who just turned 11 and can't seem to focus long enough to button a shirt. *wink*

It's easy to follow and offers life application at a level they can absorb. Great ebook!
