Info Post

Some Christians say they refuse to vote for a Mormon.  This makes me sad because that is a vote taken away from the candidate who is against abortion.  We are voting for a President, not a Pastor.

Even if there was a born-again believer running for president, it doesn't mean he would make a good president.  Randy Alcorn has a brilliant post about this very issue.  You can read it here.

No, Mitt Romney isn't perfect but none of us are close to perfect.  He has been married to the same woman for many years.  He has raised five sons who work hard and have good families.  He says he will be a pro-life president.  He has the values that I believe make a healthy society.

If he wins, he won't be a perfect president.  Those don't exist but I believe he will be much better than President Obama, the most radical, pro-abortion president we have ever had.  He believes it is okay to murder a full-term baby as it is coming down the birth canal moments before birth.  He also opposed a bill three times that would allow doctors to care for babies that survived abortions!  This is evil.

  Governor Romney believes in hard work.  He believes people should depend more upon their families, friends, and churches than the government to provide for them.

The government should be a safety net for those who truly are in need, not for healthy, capable individuals.  Dependency on government destroys societies and he understands this principle.  Yes, I realize this isn't our home and we are citizens of heaven but I believe we should do what we can to get a president elected that believes in defending the life of the innocent and the sanctity of marriage.

When there is moral rot within a nation,
its government topples easily;
but with honest, sensible leaders there is stability.
Proverbs 28:2
